On January 21, 2023, a meeting was held within the framework of the working visit of Akim of the Mangystau region Nogaev N.A. to the territory of the SEZ "Seaport Aktau", with the participation of local authorized bodies and specialized organizations.

During the meeting, the Chairman of the Management Board of JSC "SEZ "Seaport Aktau" Kabashev A.T. brought information about the current situation and development indicators, the results of activities and plans for further development of the SEZ.

The Head of the region drew the attention of the meeting participants to the need to implement all the tasks set, noting the importance of further infrastructural development of the FEZ, as well as the development of industries in order to diversify the region's economy.

​During the visit, the Head of the region also got acquainted with the projects of the FEZ with a visit to the facilities of the SEZ participants, including "Topan Chemical Industries" (a plant for the production of caustic soda and chlorine-containing products) with an investment volume of 28 billion tenge, TOO "Chem-Invest Export" (a plant for the production of chemical industry products) with an investment volume of 1.7 billion tenge, WestEcoPlast LLP (plant for the production of soft packaging containers – big bags) with an investment volume of 1.1 billion tenge, EVEREST TECHNO LLP (plant for the production of pumping rods and couplings to them) with an investment volume of 14.2 billion tenge. tenge, Kazakhstan Pipe Threaders LLP (plant for the production of pipes with gas-tight threaded connection of premium class) with a project cost of 16.2 billion tenge, Azersun Production and Logistics Center LLP (fruit, vegetables and food products warehouse) with a project cost of 4.6 billion tenge.

Following the meeting, a number of specific instructions were given aimed at creating a favorable investment climate.
